“The Bench”
If you look carefully you can see my camera bag parked on “The Bench” under the window. Read the bench rant on the rant page if you are unfamillar with it. I hate the bench but I wanted the light for photos. Our very gracious hostess Marzena brought Intelligentsia coffee. It was good and strong. 8 Water was via Milk Jug on the table. Music was a mix of easy rock pop from 70’s to today. 8 There was a grassy thing on the table in a tiny bucket. The plant was genuine plastic.

Water Supply
While I unpacked and studied the menu Marzena brought over some Freshly squeezed Orange Strawberry Juice 10! The juice was Yummy 8

It was kind of a tough decision. The menu is medium largish.
Our server finally gave up and went on about her business. Eventually after several cups of coffee I flagged her down.
The parma prosciutto
ATOP GRIDDLED POLENTA CAKES, HOLLANDAISE, & PARMESAN CHEESE Served with house potatoes.
The Potatoes were pretty fresh, roasted, and finished off in the deep-fryer. Seasoned properly and correct salt level. 8 The Polenta cakes could have been crisper and a bit bigger. They kind of got lost but they were quite tasty 8 The Hollandaise was creamy and eggy but not much of it. 8 The Prosciutto is a bit controversial. It was lightly grilled. Purists will think that this is blasphemy. I actually prefer it with a grill kiss. Typical of Prosciutto it was Salty and Porky. There was plenty of it and It was Delicious in this dish. 9 The poached eggs (3) were near perfect. 9 Overall this was a strong 8 If you like Prosciutto you need to get this. The green sprinklie decorative stuff on the plate needs to go. It’s SO 80’s

Chorizo Fire Roasted Potatoes Poblano Queso Fresco Topped with Pico and Chipotle I chose Blueberry Buttermilk Pancakes for my bread.
The Pancakes were good. Puffy and Fluffy and Tasty. Served without Butter or Syrup. I’m sure this was an oversight. 8

The Chorizo was not your standard red greasy Chorizo. It was more like the texture of Italian Sausage. It was quite good. More Potatoes. The eggs were Brown and overcooked BUT this was a delicious Omelette. Spicy, but not over. Salty, but not over. An 8 In spite of it’s doneness.Image may be NSFW.

Green chili chilaquiles
BLACK BEANS, QUESO FRESCO, PICO DE GALLO, & CHEDDAR
ADD CHICKEN. SS Up Eggs. (You knew I was going to)
OK you pretty much already know that the Eggs are undercooked. The whites were snotty. 4 The added Chicken was properly seasoned and not hammered which chicken often is. 8 The green Tomatillo Sauce was moderately spicy and pretty tasty. I’m pretty sure the chips were not made in house. I’ve had a lot Chilaquiles. These were in the middle of the pack. 7

Healthy Start Pancakes
Oatmeal Blueberry Pancakes with Granola and topped with BB Compote and yogurt.
Delicious! The cakes were fairly light, Oaty, and tender with built in Blueberries. Good flavor and texture. Maybe a tad thin. Overall a good ending dish. 9
